Rebranding is more than a new website palette or packaging. Much more. Our Brand Workshop process revealed the brand and its assets were not aligned. Solution: A deep rebrand (website and packaging) to fully reflect the premium quality of the product.

Our design concept created a unique identity distinct from the ‘traditional’ or ‘artisanal’ vibe of the rest of the market. This was translated into a complete visual system that we used to connect packaging and all website elements—from copy to videos and photography.

A premium website means attention to detail—everything has to just work! We analyzed and customized every aspect of the customer journey—product pages, cart, how to present and manage shipping costs. And we ensured the masses of existing Squarespace recipe content migrated flawlessly to Shopify.

These awesome LED neon sign makers wanted to upgrade their ecommerce and have space to grow. We saw they needed better (more automated) sales mechanisms and a creative way to stand out from hundreds of similar companies.

For one of our most design-led projects, we drew on avant-garde art from the mid-century golden age of neon. We devised a site that screamed unique and spoke of neon and creativity but didn’t sacrifice commercial ease of use.

To seriously streamline the customer journey, we worked closely with developers to customize and fully integrate an app that allowed users to create their own signs. But we didn’t forget the site’s UX or custom SVG animations that made the site glow. Literally.

This longtime ‘lyfe style’ blog had grown organically and gained some prominence. But its creator felt it was time to make it more monetizable. The site needed a radical redesign to better reflect the content and work seamlessly on mobile.

We translated the owner’s desire for a more newspaper-like feel into an aesthetic of classic, clean lines, bold typefaces and a touch of whimsy. The design was held together and elevated by the original custom illustrations, which Superfein executed in-house.

A new, functional responsive website architecture was also essential. We worked through every detail of DobbernationLoves to create a fully integrated, trustworthy but also deeply individual site that is 100% mobile friendly. The result is as full of personality as its creator and translated immediately and directly into brand loyalty and visitor retention.

Although probably *the* cult beauty destination in Toronto, Jacob & Sebastian’s online presence fell a long way below their luxurious in-store experience. The diagnosis was straightforward: The website should reflect the bricks-and-mortar premium experience.

We aimed to match J&S’s curated and aesthetic offline atmosphere, while giving the user a perfectly smooth, intuitive and secure ecommerce experience. In other words, create the online equivalent of the joy of visiting the store and leaving with a bagful of the best beauty products.

Working closely with J&S’s owner, we transformed and polished everything (front and backend). The resulting website is reliable, easy to manage and a roaring success. A sophisticated online destination that truly reflects J&S’s strong brand and market position.

This Himalayan women’s collective had a great local setup but was reliant on reaching consumers on a national level. To do this, we needed to communicate their story passionately but effectively within a reliable digital infrastructure.

The challenge was to create an inviting, but clear ecommerce experience, without losing the presence of the women who made it all possible. So we went into each of the villages to work directly with them.

Complementing the site’s creative concept, we implemented a clear UX and made it easy to keep updated. Sales orders skyrocketed over the first year. Best bit? The money going back directly to the families in the villages.
