So far, a test of this plugin looks most promising… It does a *beautiful* job of centering the image in a fixed overall space without distortion—and it maintains a “scholarly” ambience without bells ‘n’ whistles (thumbnails, arrows, etc.). Thank you!

In the settings, I enabled “Slider Text” because I need to caption the images with commercial and historical info like this: “XYZ Font Four|Legend•Designer Unknown, ®J.K. Rogers/Boston TF 1880.” Ideally, the caption would be centered below the image.

Instead, only a label displays. In two cases, the filenames; in the third, the title of the typeface. How can I fix this?

P.S. Two related features that I “took for granted” do not seem to be offered:
 1) Pause on mouse hover or screen touch.
 2) Subsequent click or press leads to linked page with educational and/or purchase info.
