Additionally, the following drugs can increase the effects of Cialis® by altering the drug's metabolism: ketoconazole, erythromycin, itraconazole, rifampin, and clarithromycin.
Who should not take Cialis®?
You should not take Cialis® if you are taking any of the medicines listed above or have any of the following health conditions: moderate to severe liver disease, moderate to severe kidney disease, retinitis pigmentosa, sickle cell anemia, or certain heart problems such as advanced congestive heart failure or a recent myocardial infarction. Does Cialis® treat anything other than ED?
Yes. Cialis® is approved to aid the treatment of the following medical issues: pulmonary arterial hypertension (if taken without nitrates) and enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH).
What won't Cialis® do?
Cialis® will not protect you against sexually transmitted diseases, provide sexual stimulation, make your penis bigger, treat premature ejaculation, or cure other diseases than for which it was prescribed (eg, peyronie’s disease).
