Prisma

The traditional school system was designed over 100 years ago to prepare kids for a world that no longer exists—so it’s no surprise that over 50% of kids lose interest in school by 4th grade.

Prisma was built by a team of educators, tech entrepreneurs, and parents who were bold enough to believe a better way of preparing our kids for the future was possible.

We’ve discovered that all kids can get excited about school again—if learning is meaningful, engaging, and personalized. Our ethos is ‘hard fun’: interesting problems to solve, creative projects to tackle, and an environment where learning is dynamic and exciting.

Every day you can expect -

A Real Peer Community

The best of both worlds: your child joins a tight-knit peer cohort for daily workshops and connection, and a diverse global community through Prisma-wide clubs and events.

Live Workshops

2-3 hours daily of interactive live teaching with peers: think debates, simulations, or design challenges over boring lectures. And learners present their work at Expo Day celebrations!

Engaging Curriculum

Interdisciplinary themes like 'Build a Business' and 'Unsolved Mysteries' cover core academics through projects kids actually want to finish, while providing them an accredited transcript and real-world skills.

1:1 Coaching

Each learner is matched with a best-of-the-best educator (we hire 0.5% of applicants). Your learner’s coach provides personalized feedback on their work and meets 1-on-1 for goal setting and support.

The Skills You Wish
You Learned in School

Schools reward kids for checking boxes and following instructions. But in the real world, success comes from forging your own path and tackling problems without clear answers. Developing this kind of agency takes practice—and we’re failing kids if we let them wait until adulthood to start.

At Prisma, kids learn to love the hard work of building something meaningful—by practicing that process, a lot. Through our unique form of project-based learning, learners master academics at greater depth, while building the skills to make them the innovators and creators of the future.

If your learner is a self-starter who can consistently initiate and complete academic work (including writing) independently, you’ll likely spend less than an hour per day supporting them. If your learner needs significant support getting started or staying on track with work, or to write independently, you may need to spend more than two hours. Many learners begin Prisma somewhere in between, and all learners grow their self-management skills with Prisma’s focus on Initiative and Follow Through.
