    BROKE AFTER 5 MONTHS - BAD AFTERMARKET SERVICE
    They sounded ok, but 5 months later one stopped working for NO REASON. They were kept safe and secure on acoustic pads in a treated studio. The broken speaker would power on, but no sound. All troubleshooting steps followed, and still no sound It cost me $75 to ship it to KRK, who assured me they would have it fixed and returned in 1-2 weeks. It's been 2 weeks and they still just say it's "in process". I only shipped it to them because the nearest service center was 2 hours away, and I NEEDED to have the speakers by the last week in december. Now I am either going to have to buy new monitors, or cancel on my mixing projects that I was making MONEY for. Thanks, KRK, for terrible quality control and terrible aftermarket service.

      Very awesome.
      BUT i have an issue that I still have not contacted KRK about.
      There is a high pitched squeal sound that I can detect when playing at lower volumes (not that often, so I cant really hear it..).
      Perhaps this is because Im using RCA cables instead of XLR or the other kind of cables.

      I saw many DJ and young top composers like Avicii, Martin Garrix using this speakers, so I bought it. Honestly speaking, the KRK speaker is very good in all the frequencies especially at the low end. But for me, I like the tight or punch quality. Comparing the Yamaha or Genelec speakers, the KRK I don't think it is punch or tight enough. Using KRK to listen to the classical music, it is fantastic.

      Not happy. Have had these less than a year and one day an hour into DJing at home, one just goes pop and is gone. Definitely the speaker after troubleshooting and getting a DJ to look at it. I posted about it on Facebook and a professional DJs/Music producer - told me never to buy KRK speakers because they are not well made - that they have gone out on him and others he knows and that there are better options. Feel really disappointed because now I may have to ship this back somewhere to get fixed and hope it is under warranty.

      Hands down the best speakers i have ever owned. I do alot of mixing from hip hop, rap, to club and have been blown away by the results after hooking these bad boys up. Like many others have stated these speakers are not for ppl that want to hear muddy bone rattling pounding but for those who enjoy true bass and clear instrumentation. True monitors. With that said, they are extremely clear and still give a rich low end. They give a true sound stage with almost no muddiness. I use these speakers everyday, they are hooked up to a focusrite scarlett 2i2 usb dac with xlr to trs cables then to my laptop running FL studios and an 88 key keyboard. I also use for just listening as well, just dont offend the speakers and play mp3's!lol All around a great overall experience, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
