We used Clay + Claude Code + Apify to launch a multi-channel outbound system that self-improves over time. Here's the actual process Alex Fine🌲 and Understory built for us: Step 1: They fed 569 demo call transcripts into Claude Code via the Fireflies API to extract competitive signal: which tools kept coming up, what specific language frustrated prospects used, what objections stalled deals, and what made someone stay on the call. Step 2: Claude analyzed all 569 calls and built a competitor displacement map. Nine competitors ranked by how often they appeared and how dissatisfied those prospects actually were, based on the exact words they used. Step 3: Every transcript, intake form, strategy session, and past campaign result got indexed into a structured knowledge base. It updates automatically every time a new call comes in. The system gets smarter with every interaction. Step 4: They connected Apify directly into Claude Code via MCP. Claude identified the right actor, pulled unique data on decision-makers at companies actively using those high-displacement competitor tools, and pushed 9,000+ contacts to a webhook automatically. Absolutely no manual list building. Step 5: That webhook dropped everything straight into Clay. They enriched, validated, and segmented by firmographic signals and intent data. Step 6: They wrote the copy based on everything the knowledge base surfaced. Messaging built around the exact language our target prospects use when they're unhappy with a competitor. Every version synced live to Google Docs via the Google MCP so we could see and edit in real time. Step 7: Campaigns launched via Instantly for email and HeyReach for LinkedIn. Every reply, positive, negative, or neutral, gets analyzed and fed back into the knowledge base. Every LinkedIn response. Every new demo call that books. Claude re-analyzes what resonated, what didn't, and why. The brief updates automatically. The next campaign starts with sharper targeting, better messaging, and fresher signal than the one before it. Campaign 2 starts smarter than Campaign 1. Campaign 3 smarter than Campaign 2. The results already prove it! Most agencies finish a campaign and start the next one from scratch. The Understory guys built us a GTM system that gets better every run. Can't wait to see what they do us next! Keep building.

💬 The best next video ideas are not only in your head. They sit in your comment section - spread across months of uploads. The blog walks the pipeline: 1️⃣ YouTube Comments Scraper pulls your threads (thousands of comments in the same automated pull) 2️⃣ YouTube Scraper covers rival channels 3️⃣ Both export JSON/CSV on an Apify schedule through n8n into Sheets or Notion. Sort comment themes in ChatGPT or Claude next to competitor performance in one sheet. Your backlog carries audience phrasing and competitor proof together. ↓ Read the full guide below in the comments.

Tokens disappear fast. The fix isn't always buying more. The bigger shift happens when you stop treating Claude like a search engine and start giving it proper tools. Connect Apify as a connector, and it pulls structured data at scale instead of spending tokens on web searches - competitor research, lead lists, platform data, all handled 🙌

Why did a single web search burn through all my Claude tokens? Welcome to tokenomics. Not the blockchain kind! The "how do I actually make my AI subscription last" kind. This is the new skill people need to pick up. Here's the thing most people miss: the answer isn't buying more credits. It's getting more out of the ones you already have. One of the easiest wins? Connectors. Claude has them built in. A handful of clicks and you're off. It's not just for developers. Plug in something like Apify and your Claude stops burning tokens on web searches. It also starts doing things it couldn't really do before. Crawling a whole platform. Pulling clean, structured data at speed. Basically, turning the internet into a database you can query. Apartment hunt. Job search. Competitor research. Lead lists. The stuff that usually eats a whole afternoon becomes a clean spreadsheet in minutes. That's what we're exploring at the next Co-Learning Club workshop. No worries if you haven't used Claude Cowork before, we'll give a brief introduction too! Built for non-techies. No code. No setup headaches. Bring a problem that's been sitting on your todo list, we'll turn it into something real together. Hosted at Denizen. Big thanks to them for having us. Which connectors are you using, and which ones gave you the biggest productivity boost that everyone should try? #AI #Tokenomics #CoLearningClub Link's in the comments 👇

At CzechCrunch Future, we had a booth where people could stop by, try the platform, and ask questions. A lot of them had heard of Apify but weren't sure exactly what it does - and by the end, the reaction was usually something like "Wait, you can do all that?" 🤯 Web scraping, data extraction, AI agents, MCP, automation workflows - seeing it click for someone is still the best part of these events. On the main stage, Jan Čurn tackled a question that's been circulating a lot lately: is this really the end of software startups? And what does the future look like for developers? Thanks to the CzechCrunch team for putting together a great event 🙌

The MCP backlash online has been loud. But the problem isn't the protocol - it's how most agents use it. Most of them waste context before they've done anything useful - loading every tool definition upfront, even the ones they'll never touch. Jan Čurn spoke about this at MCP Dev Summit by Agentic AI Foundation and introduced mcpc, Apify's new open-source tool that fixes how agents interact with MCP servers. Full talk in the comments 👇
