A client came to us with a specific feature request: a tiered pricing option for their field service management system — unit prices that would automatically adjust based on quantity thresholds or job type. It sounded reasonable. They had real use cases for it. We could have just estimated it and moved on. Instead, we asked one question first: what do you actually need to happen when prices vary? Turns out, what they needed day-to-day was to adjust the price on a quote or invoice when a special case came up. Not an automated rules engine. Making the unit price field editable solved the immediate problem completely, at a fraction of the effort and without a tricky accounting system integration. The automated logic went on the backlog as a future phase item. The feature request was a solution. The actual need was flexibility. Those are not the same thing. This comes up more often than you'd think. Clients arrive with an idea they've seen somewhere, got inspired by, or thought through on their own — and that's a good thing. It means they're engaged and thinking ahead. The risk is getting attached to that first idea before the full picture is clear. A feature doesn't exist in isolation. It connects to other parts of the product, to the team's workflow, to integrations that may or may not be in scope. We run discovery workshops at the start of projects for exactly this reason. But the mindset behind them doesn't stop there. At any stage, the most useful thing a development team can do is pause, ask what problem is actually being solved, and make sure the proposed solution is still the right one. Sometimes it is. Sometimes one question changes the scope entirely. #PropTech #SoftwareDevelopment #ProductDiscovery #ClientCollaboration

Evojam is now a Certified Open Mercato Agency 🎉 If you haven’t heard of Open Mercato yet, it’s a modern, AI-ready, open-source CRM/ERP foundation built by Piotr Karwatka and Tomasz Karwatka (the brothers behind Divante, Vue Storefront, Callstack, and more). The idea is simple: instead of spending the first 3–4 months rebuilding things like auth, permissions, data models, and UI from scratch, you start with about 80% already in place. For real estate, that maps directly to problems we keep hearing: 🏢 You need a CRM for agents and deal pipelines that actually matches how brokers work, not a generic sales tool patched together with workarounds 📋 You’re juggling leases, tenants, and maintenance workflows across a portfolio, and it still lives in spreadsheets and email threads 🔄 You want a client or investor portal where people can track deals, access documents, and manage their accounts, without your team acting as the middleman every time 📊 You need property data, valuations, and transaction history in one place, connected to the people and processes that use it 🤖 You want AI agents that actually understand your business data structure from day one With Open Mercato, we can build all of this much faster, with full code ownership on your side and an architecture that AI can naturally read and extend. So the system gets smarter as it grows. If you’re looking at digital platforms for your real estate business and you’re tired of hearing “this will take 12 months to build”, this is worth a look 👇 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dAvXW3jj #PropTech #RealEstate #OpenMercato #CRM #ERP

A few months ago, we heard about a fast-growing tech company that reduced around 30% of its engineering team. The reasoning sounded logical: “AI generates most of the code. We can move faster and stay lean.” At first, the results looked impressive: 📈 Faster delivery ⚡ Tests and documentation generated in minutes 🚀 Higher sprint velocity 📊 Stronger-looking metrics Everything pointed to efficiency... But over time, more subtle challenges began to appear. Architectural consistency required more effort. Senior engineers spent less time designing systems and more time reviewing generated implementations. Nothing was dramatically broken — yet maintaining clarity became harder. This was not a story about AI failing. It was a story about misunderstanding what AI actually replaces... AI is excellent at: - accelerating repetitive tasks - drafting initial concepts and test cases - exploring alternative technical approaches AI does not replace: -architectural judgment -long-term system thinking -ownership and responsibility toward clients In many ways, AI raises the bar. If implementation becomes easier, the real value shifts upward — toward better decisions, stronger design, and deeper business understanding. At our software house, AI is treated as an accelerator — not a substitute. It supports Developers in their work, but technical accountability remains human. The question is no longer whether to use AI. The real question is how to use it without losing what makes engineering truly valuable...? How is this balance evolving in your organization? #AI #SoftwareDevelopment #TechLeadership #SoftwareHouse #DigitalTransformation

As we close out 2025, it’s a natural moment to reflect on how technology continues to transform the construction and real estate industries. This year has made one trend clearer than ever: as project complexity grows and operational pressure intensifies, companies increasingly rely on automation and intelligent tools to streamline processes, accelerate decision-making, and scale with predictability. Throughout 2025, we’ve seen a strong pattern in what companies most often seek: 🏗 digitalizing operational workflows 📊 automating documentation and internal processes 🤖 applying AI to analyze tenders, offers, and technical documentation 🏢 building digital platforms to connect stakeholders across the construction and real estate ecosystem Looking ahead, the direction for 2026 is unmistakable: ➡️ Operational Intelligence — the strategic use of AI, automation, and data to turn daily operations into a source of competitive advantage. And 2026? It will be the year when operational intelligence moves from “experimentation” to execution at scale. A year when companies stop asking “Should we adopt AI?” and start asking “Where else can it accelerate our business?” A year of deeper integrations, smarter ecosystems, and measurable returns on efficiency, speed, and predictability. We enter 2026 with strong momentum, valuable insights from the market, and a clear belief that the companies which invest in intelligent operations today will lead the industry tomorrow. Thank you to our partners and clients for your trust and collaboration throughout 2025. 🤝 Here’s to a year of bold decisions, meaningful transformation, and smart innovation in 2026! #PropTech #Construction #Automation #AI #SoftwareHouse #DigitalTransformation

🔧 From Chaos to Clarity: How We Unified Field Service Operations for Our Client An HVAC service provider came to us with a familiar problem: their business was scattered across disconnected systems. Scheduling happened over phone calls, job information lived in spreadsheets, customer communication was fragmented, and as they grew, the operational overhead became unsustainable. The challenge? They needed everything in one place — a way for office staff, technicians in the field, and customers to all work together seamlessly. We built a custom Field Service Management platform with three connected applications: 👩💻 A backoffice app for managing contracts, scheduling, quoting, and invoicing 📱 A technician mobile app for field work with real-time access to job history and equipment data 🏢 A customer portal giving clients visibility into their equipment and spending No more phone calls to check on a job. No more hunting through spreadsheets. Just a unified system that lets the business operate smoothly — even during their busiest seasons. The result? A transformed workflow that gave them the foundation to grow without adding more chaos. Ready to see how we did it? 🚀 From Figma to Code in Seconds: How We're Revolutionizing UI Development with AI Tired of manually translating Figma designs into code? What if I told you there's a way to generate pixel-perfect React components directly from your Figma files with just one simple prompt? At Evojam, we've been experimenting with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to bridge the gap between design and development. The results? Mind-blowing. ✨ Here's what we achieved: • Direct Figma-to-code generation through Cursor AI • Automatic asset extraction (images, icons, everything!) • Massive time savings in UI development • No more manual design-to-code translation 🎯 The magic happens with just one prompt: "Create this login page: [Figma link]" That's it. The AI does the rest. But here's the reality check - it's not perfect yet. Language models can hallucinate, forget elements, or struggle with complex layouts. However, when used strategically with proper prompting and Cursor Rules, it's a game-changer for development velocity. 📖We just published a detailed guide by Paweł Przetacznik covering: • Step-by-step MCP setup in Cursor • Real examples with screenshots • Best practices for complex designs • How to optimize results with Cursor Rules • When (and when not) to use this approach Want to see how we turned a Figma design into working React code in under a minute? Check out the full article in the comments below! 👇 What's your experience with AI-powered design-to-code tools? Have you tried similar workflows? #AI #Frontend #React #Figma #Development #Automation #WebDevelopment #UIUXDesign #TechInnovation #DeveloperTools

We tested 5 AI tools that promise to turn Figma designs into production-ready code. Here's what we discovered... As a Software House serving clients with varying budgets, we needed to find ways to deliver quality faster. So we put popular Figma-to-code tools through rigorous testing: ✅ Anima - "Vibe-coding" with solid component reuse ✅ Cursor + Figma MCP** - Direct codebase integration (our winner!) ✅ v0 by Vercel - Quick prototyping but limited fidelity ✅ Locofy.ai - Best visual accuracy, complex workflow ✅ Figma Make - Native Figma integration with mixed results The Reality Check: Most tools excel at prototyping but struggle with production-ready integration. Only one stood out for real commercial projects... We tested each tool on both simple forms and complex dashboards, scoring them across 6 critical criteria: code quality, Figma fidelity, integration ease, component reusability, UX, and efficiency gains. The surprising winner?: Cursor + Figma MCP scored 26/30 points - not because it's perfect, but because it's the only one that generates code directly in your existing codebase. AI is exciting. It’s powerful. It’s on everyone’s lips in 2025. But here’s the uncomfortable truth: sometimes AI is overkill. Some problems don’t need “intelligence” at all. They need clear rules, fast execution, and reliability. In other words… good old business process automation. In our latest blog post, we break down: When AI-powered process automation services make sense When automation alone will reduce operational costs faster and cheaper Real examples from finance, customer service, manufacturing, and more The simple question every leader should ask before approving an AI project If you’ve ever wondered “How to implement AI in my company?” or “AI vs RPA: which is better for automation?”, this article will give you a clear, non-hyped framework to decide. Read it here 👉 https://lnkd.in/dxiqEWiV 💡 Sometimes the brightest star in your toolkit is the one you’ve had all along. #AI #Automation #BusinessProcessAutomation #DigitalTransformation #AITrends2025
