Migrating to New Grid Edit
We are adding users to a new app, which is our first one using the new spreadsheet style grid edit. What are best practices, in terms of: backend restrictions to not allow grid edit for users who likely don't need it training / instructing frontend users on the new behaviour Thanks.
Form Rules Changes
In the old form rules, I had the form rule attached below. I want to migrate the old form to a new form. However, QuickBase updated some of the form rules variables for instance one could have a field with a default variable like "has been changed" or "had been changed to" or "has been changed from". In the new form rules this is close to impossible. Anyone who has managed to fix this? I will appreciate.Setting todays date in a webhook
Does anyone know the correct syntax to set a date field to the current date, in a webhook? Portland Qrew is meeting Wednesday, April 22th 3PM PST at Harder Mechanical Contractors and also on Teams. This month we'll talk about Empower, current projects, new changes and challenges and our favorite Quickbase Bug. Anyone can show off work and cheer each other on. We ask attendees to bring Quickbase problems to solve and then work together to provide a solution. Anyone willing to share is welcome to have a problem solved by a team of very nice people who all love helping. Afterwards I suspect we will go out somewhere and welcome recommendations. What does this mean for you? You’ll continue to open support cases the same way you do today through Quickbase Support, but now Juiced-related tickets will be handled directly by the Quickbase Technical Support team. This allows us to provide a more streamlined and consistent support experience across your entire Quickbase environment. Even better, if your organization has Premium or 24/7 Support with Quickbase, that same level of coverage will now apply to Juiced extension support cases as well! What to Expect: One unified support experience for Quickbase and Juiced extensions Faster, streamlined case routing through the Quickbase Support team Expanded support coverage, including Premium and 24/7 plans where applicable Continued access to Juiced extension expertise As part of this change, the support@juicedtech.com inbox will be retired on April 1. Going forward, all Juiced extension support requests should be submitted through the standard Quickbase Support channels. Our teams have completed extensive training and documentation to ensure a smooth transition. During the initial stabilization period, the Juiced team will also remain closely involved behind the scenes to assist with complex cases as needed. No action is required from you. We have a URL button that uses API_editrecord to check mark the completed box on a record. We have an email notification that is triggered when a new record is added to the table. When we reply to the email notification, just within our company emails, I noticed that the reply is triggering the URL button. Does anyone know why this is happening? I've removed the rich text button from the email notification but still trying to figure out why replying to an email acts like clicking a button.
