Squash is for everyone
On the weekend of March 13-15th, we saw a grand total of 13 coaches, juniors and members place at tournaments. We are so proud of everyone, and even more so to see our mission of squash being for everyone being fulfilled. Not only did we have juniors competing at Junior Nationals and Silver tournaments, we also had our coaches playing in the Big Apple Open, and both our men’s and women’s members competing in the same tournament. We would like to take a moment to congratulate everyone for their achievements and for representing our organization so proudly.

It is a real testament to the community here at Open Squash to see so much competition over such a vast array of levels, and to see our coaching staff becoming role models for our Juniors and our members.
Congratulations again to everyone on their achievements, as well as everyone who competed! For those of you who are wanting to compete, there are plenty of exciting upcoming and ongoing events at Open Squash and in NYC. We currently have our Club Championships underway, and in April we are co-hosting the 2026 U.S. Masters Squash Championships both Men’s and Women’s. In May, we are hosting the Hyder Trophy at both the amateur and professional levels. There is also an outdoor squash tournament from May through September at Maspeth Welding.
Rally on!
