Hey,
Are you able to edit other plugins that are installed on your site?
No, that means everything was happened with last wordpress update to version 4.9.1
Do you have any idea to solve this problem?
Thanks
If you can’t edit any plugins, then it sounds like this might be more of an issue to do with your site, than this specific plugin.
I’ll let you know if I spot a solution.
There is a problem only if plugin is active.
Warning: Making changes to active plugins is not recommended.
Hi again,
I have multiple sites and this problem is present on all of them. I think that wordpress doesn’t allow to edit active plugins anymore since last update to version 4.9.1. It seams that plugin Functionality has to be updated to be allowed for editing. This is my opinion and I apologize if I’m wrong.
Thanks
Hey,
It looks like this may be due to an issue with your web host not properly supporting WordPress’ new file editor. Significant changes were made in WordPress 4.9.1, and now the file editor is disabled for active plugins unless the server supports the new code validation features. Here’s Otto’s comment on this change.
So, unfortunately, this is not something I can fix in this plugin, but something you’ll need to investigate with your web host.
