Groups & Woocommerce – Variations

    Hi,

    with Woocoomerce installed the Groups Options offers as a post type not only products but also product variations. What is the effect of this? I can’t see a Groups choice on variation level…

    Hey Stefan,

    At the moment the Variations option found in Groups > Options has no effect in restrictions offered by Groups.

    Hi, you see this post type like any other post type as an option, but there is no particular desired effect. There are no plans to introduce any specific functionality as there is no use case identified which would benefit from it. My recommendation, just keep it unchecked.

    Hi, the use case would be the same as the main product: to have one oder more variations of a product which are restricted to a specific group.

    @westefan for that I would recommend to use separate products instead
