"1980 PEPSI-COLA ALL-STARS" REPRINT SET

Released March, 2026.

 

For the first time on the WTHBALLS label, a REPRINT set, this of the legendary unreleased 1980 Pepsi-Cola Baseball All-Stars 22-card set.

 

Proposed by Topps to Pepsi as a 22-card set in 1980 (just like the 1981 Coca-Cola sets), cards were fully designed and ready for production before Pepsi decided against it, thus leaving us with incredibly rare hand-cut samples floating in the hobby over the years. 

 

As an added bonus, there are TWO special Rickey Henderson "rookie" edition Pepsi cards in this set, including an error-version with incorrect position on front that I had originally sent to print.

 

24 cards total in this set, including all 22 cards in original Test Set, as well as bonus Rickey Henderson error & corrected cards.

 

Faithfully reproduced both front and back, each card is clearly labeled as a "reprint" on back so as not to cause any confusion. 

 

Packaged in clear plastic trading card box with full-color printed wrap.

 

  

"DEDICATED AND MISSING IN THE 1960s"

Released January, 2026.

 

A special 1960s set dedicated mainly to players that made their mark in Major League ball in the 1970s. 

 

Features "dedicated rookies" and straight-up "missing" cards for players like Graig Nettles, Lou Piniella, Ted Simmons and Al Oliver. See images below.

 

21 cards total in this set, including a couple of "bonus" cards: a 1957 "missing" Curt Flood edition, and a 1965 card for Japanese all-time great Sadaharu Oh.

 

Packaged in standard glossy paper "wax" wrapper. 

 

  

1976 "POWER ROLL" 25-CARD DICE GAME

Released November, 2025.

 

25 cards of the Major League's top stars making up a fun baseball dice-game, with dice roll results on back. (Note: package states 20 cards, but I added five more cards at the last minute after wraps were sent in to print).

 

Packaged in plastic hinged snap case, the set also comes with two mini pencils, two small dice, WTHBALLS 1" pin-back and two pieces of genuine Bazooka bubble gum.

 

Cards come inside full-color wrap with QR code that leads you to printable full-color scoresheet below to help score games you play! Just download image (8.5" x 11") and print as many as you need!

WTHBALLS 1981 DRAKE'S BIG PITCHERS SET

Released September 2025.

20 cards of the Major League's top pitchers as an extension set of sorts to the wildly popular "Big Hitters" 1981 Drake's set. 

There's also a header card with an QR code to scan, allowing direct access to this blog and all the WTHBALLS printed cards and sets so far. 21 card in total.

Some of the Major League stars featured: Tom Seaver, Nolan Ryan, Jim Palmer and 17 more mound studs. See images below. 

Cards have full stat printed backs like the original 1981 cards, so watch out for the (super) fine print! 

Packaged in clear plastic trading card box tucked inside a double-sided printed PVC zip-lock food pouch with bonus die-cut Drake's/WTHBALLS sticker.

Good day everyone!

I have finally completed an up-to-date WTHBALLS checklist for all cards printed thus far, with updates as every new set is released in the future. 

It is current up to my "1980s Career-Cappers", and will be updated as needed going forward.

The spreadsheet includes my very limited "Decade" sets released in 2018/2019, as well as any stickers, pins, etc I created along the way.

WTHBALLS 1980s "CAREER-CAPPERS"

Released July 2025.

20 cards of Major League stars who retired during the 1980s getting one last "career-capper", plus bonus 1981 capper for Japanese All-Time great Sadaharu Oh. 21 card in total.

WTHBALLS 1960s "IN-ACTION" SET SERIES 3

11 action cards (one for each year of the 1960s) plus bonus 1960 Leaf action card in wax pack wrapper. 

A fun set imagining if Topps would have started using action photography on their cards before 1971.

For this set, the special insert is a "missing" 1973 Kellogg's Willie Mays card. 

I previously released "missing" 1973 Kellogg's cards of Roberto Clemente and Hank Aaron.

 

WTHBALLS CUSTOM "ANOTHER CUP-O'-COFFEE" SET

Released August, 2024.

11 cards wax pack wrapper. 

The second "Cup O' Coffee" series consisting of 11 cards of players who never had a Topps card. 10 cards of players from the 1970s (one for each year) and one bonus card of a player from the 1960s.

15 cards plus bonus 1951 Blue Back Joe DiMaggio, Stan Musial sticker and original 1973 Mike Schmidt WTHBALLS prototype that started it all (hand stamped on back), in two-piece hard shell case with color wrap.
