    I make resin jewelry, and I especially enjoy making earrings. I was in need of a way to photograph my earrings well, and thought maybe these ears would be a solution. They were not. I'm not sure what these are actually intended for, since there are no earring holes. I guess I could use them to model cuffs, if I made those.

    I considered trying to poke my own holes, but the silicone ears are actually pretty thick. I wasn't confident that earrings would lie correctly, since these are nearly twice the thickness of the average human ear. I didn't want to make that gamble, knowing that they couldn't be returned if it didn't work, so I sent them back instead.

    I have to say, too, that I wouldn't advise using these as a display in a store or craft booth display. They're slightly creepy. Of course, the creepy factor could actually complement certain styles of jewelry... So I guess you could use them to your advantage selling Halloween or goth themed pieces. If that isn't your intent, though, I would advise you to try a different style display.

    it’s okay. i wouldn’t but it again though. it’s good to pierce but it doesn’t feel like a real ear at all and the silicone is very hard so when i practice piercing, it’s really hard to get jewelry through. the ear lobe part is also VERY thick. which didn’t allow me to get the jewelry in the lobe fully because of how thick it is. it also rips very very easily.
