60% of patients hang up after more than one minute on hold. With call center turnover at 35% annually, that gap isn't closing on its own. Gary Avery from Optimus Health Care joined Marietta Zissimatos, PT, MSc to discuss why organizations are turning to AI agents to expand call center capacity and patient access. Across Commure deployments, agents are handling 30 to 80% of inbound calls without staff intervention, freeing teams to focus on what requires human judgment. • In a review of 2.6 million encounters, sites with denial rates most would consider good (5-7%) were still losing 3.1-4.4% of revenue to undercoding. Commure Autonomous coding was built to fix this problem, generating CPT and ICD-10 codes from clinical documentation, so providers get paid for the care they deliver. In validation testing, auditors found the AI selected more appropriate codes than human coders had originally assigned. Read how it works: https://lnkd.in/g-MUKB_6

  • Orthopedic practices are managing some of the most complex revenue cycles in ambulatory care, and most are still doing it with disconnected point solutions. Lexi Hull will be at AAOE in Louisville April 20–22, joining practice administrators and musculoskeletal executives for conversations on how Commure connects documentation, coding, and the full revenue cycle into one data model instead of managing each piece separately.
