Meta has been found guilty of misleading young users about their safety, and there are thousands of similar cases. Thanks to Arturo Béjar, a former engineering leader at Meta, important insights have come to light: 🔸16% of all Instagram users reported being exposed to unwanted explicit content in a single week. 🔸According to the state of New Mexico, Meta intentionally exposed young users to harmful and abusive content. Meanwhile, Meta is facing another trial in Los Angeles. A young woman named Kaley claims she became addicted to Meta’s platforms as a child due to their intentional design.
