We talked last week about rethinking workflows entirely in the age of AI rather than trying to bolt on workflows to existing (but faulty) processes. (https://lnkd.in/gME55293) Well, here's more proof. Gartner predicts 40% of agentic AI projects will fail by 2027. Not because the technology doesn't work. Because companies are automating broken processes instead of fixing them. Deloitte's 2026 Tech Trends report (https://lnkd.in/gkmN57qs) puts it plainly: the organizations winning with agentic AI aren't the ones moving fastest; they're the ones who stopped and redesigned their operations before layering in AI. The ones who failed treated AI like a faster version of what they were already doing. The numbers tell the story: 75% of companies will invest in agentic AI by the end of this year. But right now, only 11% are running it in production. There's a massive gap between "we're piloting AI" and "AI is running our workflows." That gap doesn't close with better technology. It closes with better process design. If you're evaluating where AI fits in your operations, the right first question isn't What can we automate?, but rather What would we build differently if we were starting from scratch today? And you likely need an AI-native platform to achieve these goals, not a bolt-on solution. You know what they say about "drinking your own champagne..." The Intellistack team didn't just build an AI-native platform for business orchestration and process automation.
