Next week, April 20–26, Standex Engraving Mold-Tech will be part of 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the world’s premier celebration of design, creativity, and innovation. “𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘅” is our theme for The New State of Materials exhibition, brought to life through a collaboration with Materially Temporiuso and Brand Design Master students from the ABA Accademia di Belle Arti Perugia, led by Professor Marco Tortoioli Ricci. At Stecca3 in Milan’s Isola Design District, a public staircase is being transformed into a striking, year-long work of urban typography. Guided by the creative vision, “𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗿𝗵𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁,” the installation captures the essence of the project, turning engineered surfaces into an expressive, interactive experience. More than a visual statement, the installation reflects Standex Engraving’s core philosophy: texture is not only aesthetic, but functional. Recently, Sherry Latham, our Community Relations Manager and a Salem High School graduate, presented a check on behalf of Standex to the team, to support their continued work in robotics, hands-on learning, and community outreach. 💜 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆. Earlier this week, our HR team came together wearing purple, the global color symbolizing 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻, to recognize the women who inspire us in our lives and workplaces. Through an open conversation, we reflected on the advice that has shaped us, the changes we hope to see in the world, and how companies like ours can continue to 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻.
