The space should have warm brick walls on the back serving as a gallery wall, hardwood floors covered by a large ornate Turkish rug, and painted side walls in a warm tone. One wall should feature a realistic stone fireplace with animated flickering flames, glowing embers, and a wooden mantle displaying a framed photo. The opposite wall should have a tall built-in bookshelf filled with colorful books of varying sizes. Scatter elegant brass floor lamps throughout the room—two arc-style lamps in the back corners and a tall torchiere lamp near the bookshelf. Add a luxurious leather club chair with a matching ottoman positioned near the fireplace, and a plush dog bed in the corner with a German Shepherd resting in it.
