Remove all elements from LinkedHashSet example
With this example we are going to demonstrate how to remove all elements from a LinkedHashSet. The LinkedHashSet provides methods for such operations. In short, to remove all elements from a LinkedHashSet you should:
- Create a new LinkedHashSet.
- Populate the set with elements, using the
add(E e)API method of LinkedHashSet. - Check whether the set contains any elements or not, with
isEmpty()API method of LinkedHashSet. It will return false, since the set contains the elements inserted above. - Remove all elements from the set, with
clear()API method of LinkedHashSet. - Check again if the set contains elements, with
isEmpty()API method, that will return true this time.
