Problem with CSV Event Upload

Last night I uploaded some event to our website using a CSV file. After uploading them there was no problem with events in preview so I clicked “Import All” expecting that I would see the newly imported events in the calendar, However, none of the events I imported where shown. I could go to “Edit Events” and the events I just uploaded were present but again not visible in the calendar. I edited the events, made no changes but clicked on Update and the events popped up in the Calendar. I’m confused as during development of our website, events I imported, immediately showed up in the Calendar without me having to individually update each one after the import. Is there an import problem or is there a procedural problem I failed to execute?
