The site is rendering 503 Service Unavailable.

    Things I tried:

    1. Repair and Optimize database via ‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’.
    2. Clear Transients using WP Sweep plugin.
    3. Added this code snippet ‘shutdown’ hook based from this similar issue.
    4. Disable WP Cron

NOTE: The issue only happens when I update the PHP version to 8.3. On PHP version 8.0 its okay.

Hello there, Sebastian from Jetpack here. I hope you are doing well.

It seems like the issue is related to the PHP version update. Since the problem occurs with PHP 8.3 but not with 8.0, it might be due to compatibility issues with the newer PHP version. Here are a few steps you can take:

    1. Check Plugin Compatibility: Ensure all your plugins, including Jetpack, are compatible with PHP 8.3. You may need to update them to the latest versions.
    2. Theme Compatibility: Verify that your theme is compatible with PHP 8.3. Consider updating or switching to a default theme to test.
    3. Error Logs: Review your PHP error logs for any specific errors that might indicate the source of the problem.
    4. Contact Hosting Provider: Since the site is rendering a 503 error, your hosting provider might have additional insights or server-level logs that can help diagnose the issue.

    Hi Sebastian!

Thank you for the response. I tried the steps you mentioned above and the issue still persists. Even with the site being under default theme, and all plugins disabled, the error still shows.

    Best,

    Hi @ivanbis

Thanks for confirming what you have tried so far.

While I am not certain it will fix the issue, can you try with the latest version of Jetpack (v15.2)? Again, please try with a default theme and only Jetpack enabled.

If you still get the error, please again try adding the snippet:

Let us know how it goes. We can continue troubleshooting if the issue remains.
