ScriptGecko is a web-based Instagram transcript generator for public Reels and videos. Paste a supported public Instagram URL to create clean, timestamped text in the browser, then review, copy, or download the result as a TXT file. It is designed for creators repurposing their own content, marketers studying public creative, researchers collecting searchable notes, and anyone who prefers reading instead of replaying a clip. Guests receive two free transcripts per UTC day and signed-in users receive three free daily transcripts. ScriptGecko focuses on public Instagram Reel, video, post, and TV links with accessible spoken audio. It does not bypass privacy controls and does not support private, deleted, region-restricted, silent, or technically unavailable content. Transcription quality depends on source audio, so important names, numbers, and quotations should be reviewed before publication.
