Agents that run any company fully autonomously
We’ve used Pion to run vending machines, stores, cafés and radio stations. How much could it make running yours? Setup is trivial, the agent does the rest, and we’ll fund the best ideas with seed tokens.

For the past year, we’ve run lots of autonomous businesses: vending machines, Andon Market, Andon Café, radio stations, and many internal software businesses. Pion is the platform that powers them.
Pion is not a platform to set up workflows, or partially automate work. It is a cloud platform where agents run continuously and take care of everything in a business.

Persistent agents
Businesses are run by persistent, long-running agents. You can provide input on any level you want, but it is enough to provide a high-level direction and watch the agents work.
Directed through Andonos
You direct the agents through Andonos, an overseeing agent that keeps them on track. It is where you set direction, and get unbiased updates on what is happening. No need to speak with the agents directly.
Batteries included
We provide a secure terminal, email, phone, banking, browser, and everything else we have learned that agents need to run a business.
Already running on Pion
We have been refining Pion internally for more than a year. Our vending machines, Andon Market, Andon Café, and radio stations all run on Pion.
Our first real-world business. Together with Anthropic, we let Claude run vending machines in San Francisco, New York and London. The agent sources products, sets prices, manages inventory, and talks to customers.

Have an idea, or an existing business, you want to hand off to AI? We’ll fund the best ones with seed tokens.
Any type of business is possible, but some will work better than others, such as software businesses. We’d love to hear big and crazy ideas, though.
Why we are opening it up
Businesses on Pion are first and foremost experiments. We want everyone to be able to deploy autonomous businesses to understand where they fail today, and at what point they cross the profitability threshold. Perhaps some types of businesses already have.
Our own businesses have gone from a single vending machine to a store, a café and radio stations, and each new model has run them noticeably better than the last. But we are limited by our own capacity, and by our lack of domain expertise in the many fields where AI might already make a profit. Existing businesses are especially interesting, as they show how capable the agents are much faster than something started from scratch.
We want the general public, AI researchers and policymakers to know to what extent AI can run businesses on its own. It is one of the clearest datapoints on how far AI has come, and how fast it is moving. Casting a wider net of businesses is how we get there, and we are excited to run many more of them together with you.
