2026-09-06 Created @external-ireland, @external-connacht, @external-leinster, @external-munster and @external-ulster Moved Fediverse Content out of the county forums into the above ‘external’ section. All posts from the Fediverse now live in the dedicated @external section. Any existing posts from the Fediverse (from the last 30 days at least) has been moved to there. If you get a “Boost” notification about a post that you made that is on Caint, I apologise. Caint pulls in content based on hashtags set up. We don’t catch all hashtags, just certain ones relating to Ireland (including a hashtag for each county and province) I understand that it is neither an opt-in or opt-out situation. At most, it only captures public posts that uses the necessary hashtag, just like every other Fediverse software can do already. And as it has been since the start, if there is no engagement in a topic from a Caint user in 30 days, the topic is removed. No action is required. Over the next week or so, I am improving the visibility of original content on Caint vs content from the Fediverse. Please submit all feedback to @comments-feedback Thank you!
