Hi, I’m Chi Gui. I am an incoming Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Northwestern University, where I will work with Prof. Manling Li.

My current research focuses on how AI-generated content affects people’s work and interaction with technology, particularly how unnecessary content and poor organization influence editing effort, work quality, and user experience.

Previously, I completed my M.S. in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, advised by Prof. Vikram Adve. Before that, I received my B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, where I was mentored by Prof. Benyou Wang.
