2. Art Gallery of Alberta

With a swirling exterior of zinc, glass and steel inspired by Edmonton’s unique northern environment – its silver colour reflects the shimmering, multi-coloured Aurora Borealis – the Art Gallery of Alberta exudes creativity even from the outside. From original contemporary to historical exhibitions from Alberta, across Canada and around the world, explore over 6,000 objects (created by a mix of local & international artists!) throughout three bright and airy floors of viewing space.

3. Edmonton Riverboat

Since 1995, the Edmonton Riverboat has been a fan favorite for both locals and visitors, offering stunning views of Edmonton's downtown skyline from the North Saskatchewan River. Operating from May to September, it’s a perfect summer outing.

4. Edmonton Streetcar

Ride in a beautifully refurbished trolley car that dates back to the early 1900s. Get views of the river valley you wouldn’t otherwise see, and feel the breeze coming in through the window as you savour the spectacular journey across the 100-year-old High Level Bridge.

5. Edmonton Valley Zoo

Nestled on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, the Edmonton Valley Zoo is an intimate zoo that provides authentic and engaging animal experiences. 6. Fort Edmonton Park

Step into Western Canada’s largest living history museum and experience how Fort Edmonton Park brings history to life. Travel through four immersive eras, from the fur trade and settlement period to the growing city streets of 1920, brought to life through historic buildings, costumed interpreters, hands-on experiences, rides aboard a vintage streetcar, and stories that explore the diversity of First Nations’ and Métis Peoples’ histories and perspectives.

7. Muttart Conservatory

Spend an afternoon at the Muttart Conservatory, and you'll be inspired to take your green thumb to the next level. Breathe in the humid air of the lush tropical pyramid, explore the exotic desert cacti in the arid pyramid, see eucalyptus trees in the temperate zone, and enjoy the rotating exhibits in the feature garden.

8. River Valley Adventure Co.

River Valley Adventure Co., located in the heart of the river valley, is where you can find Segway tours to discover over 150 km of trails in Edmonton's beloved river valley.

9. TELUS World of Science - Edmonton

TELUS World of Science - Edmonton is an "out-of-this-world" experience, with a wide variety of themed galleries to explore, IMAX films to discover and tons of fun and engaging hands-on science to experience.
