Straight answers
Can I download just one Reel or post?
Yes. Hover a post, Reel, Story, or Highlight on Instagram and click the download button. That is free and not counted. Download All and Download New are there when you want a whole profile.
Do you need my Instagram password?
No. The extension uses the Instagram session already in Chrome. We never ask for that password.
Where do the files go?
Photos and videos go onto your computer through Chrome downloads, into the folders your naming preset defines. We do not host your media library. Pro can also send copies of those files to your Google Drive when you click Google Drive, and a CSV of the list to your computer.
Can I export a list of what I downloaded?
Yes, on Pro. History in the extension groups files by Instagram profile. Export CSV saves a spreadsheet on your computer for client reports. Google Drive sends the photos and videos themselves to a folder in your Drive.
What counts as a free run?
Any bulk run started from the panel: Download All, Manual Selection, Range, or a Time preset. A run counts when it finishes normally and saves at least 80% of what it attempted. Free includes 20 per UTC week. Free limits explained.
What is the difference between Download All and Download New?
Download All is the first full backup of a profile. Download New only saves items added after that baseline and skips duplicates.
What can Download by Link save?
Instagram post, Reel, TV, Story, Highlight, and share-token links. Free lists take up to 20 links per task. The cap is on links, not files: a carousel is one link and may save several files.
Is this affiliated with Instagram?
No. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Instagram or Meta. Use it only on content you have the right to save.
