ICASIS 2027 | Advanced Sensing and Intelligent Systems

WELCOME TO ICASIS 2027

We are delighted to announce the 5th International Conference on Advanced Sensing and Intelligent Systems (ICASIS 2027), which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from May 21 to May 23, 2027. The conference will be organized in a hybrid format (online via Zoom + onsite in Kuala Lumpur), allowing participation both remotely and in person. Based on the successful organization of previous editions, the ICASIS conference series has grown into an established international forum for research in sensing and intelligent systems.

The field has seen notable developments in recent years. Intelligence is moving increasingly closer to the sensing process itself. Advances in edge AI and in-sensor computing are enabling devices to process and interpret data locally, reducing reliance on centralized processing while supporting faster responses. Meanwhile, integrated photonics is opening new possibilities for combining optical sensing with computation, with emerging platforms demonstrating multimodal sensing and on-chip inference. These trends are driving the convergence of sensing, photonics, and intelligent computing.

The conference program includes keynote speeches, invited talks, oral and poster presentations, exhibitions, and networking events. We invite researchers, engineers, and scholars to join us in Kuala Lumpur to share their work, discuss emerging directions, and contribute to the advancement of the field.
