What can I run on Katalon TestCloud?
Web, mobile and API tests authored in Katalon Studio or True Platform, run on cloud browsers across Windows and macOS and on real iOS and Android devices. You can also use real devices manually for exploratory testing.
Why not just use my local test environment?
A local machine or CI runner limits how many tests run at once and how many real environments you can cover. TestCloud runs tests in parallel on browsers and devices you do not have to buy, patch or babysit.
Can I run tests on-premises instead?
Yes. The Katalon Runtime Engine executes the same suites inside your own infrastructure and CI, which suits teams with security or data-residency constraints. Results still report into TestOps, so cloud and on-premises runs share one record.
Is TestCloud secure enough for enterprise use?
Customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest, backed by a current SOC 2 Type II attestation, with quarterly vulnerability scanning and annual penetration testing. Authorized admins control which AI features are available to their teams.
Can I test applications behind our firewall?
Yes. Private and local site testing lets TestCloud reach internal environments, so staging and internal tools can be covered without exposing them publicly.
Does TestCloud capture logs, screenshots and video?
Runs capture the evidence you need to debug a failure, including device logs and screenshots, and that evidence is attached to the test result in TestOps rather than living on someone's machine.
