Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. Recording, editing and export all happen inside your browser, and your video never leaves your computer. There is no account to create and no server for it to go to. See the privacy policy for exactly what that means.
How is ScreenCursor different from other screen recorders?
Most screen recording software gives you back exactly what you recorded, and leaves the camera work to you in a video editor. ScreenCursor does that part while you record: every click, drag and keystroke becomes a zoom, placed and timed for you. The best screen recorders for sharing work are the ones that produce something watchable without a second pass, and that is the only thing this is trying to be.
How does ScreenCursor compare to Screen Studio?

Can I control the zoom in and out myself?
Yes. Nothing is baked in. Every zoom can be retimed, pushed deeper or shallower, pointed at exactly the part of the screen you choose with Zoom focus point, switched between snappy and gentle motion, or deleted. You can add your own anywhere too. The camera rebuilds as you drag, so what you are watching is what exports.
Does it work on a Mac?
ScreenCursor is a Chrome extension, so it runs wherever Chrome does: macOS, Windows and Linux. Recording performance depends on your machine having hardware video encoding, which almost everything made in the last decade does.
Can I use it on more than one computer?
Yes. One purchase activates on up to three machines, which covers a laptop, a desktop and a work computer. If you replace one, you can free its slot from the license page inside the extension or from your Polar account, then activate the new one.
Is it a subscription?

Can I get a refund?
