What is the Soul Virtues Extractor?

The Soul Virtues Extractor is a free Undertale soul test built around seven virtues: Determination, Bravery, Justice, Kindness, Patience, Integrity and Perseverance. Across 66 short statements you mark how much each one sounds like you, from strongly disagree to strongly agree. There are no right answers, no account to create, and nothing to pay.

When you finish, every virtue is scored from 0 to 100 and arranged into your seven-color spectrum. You see your leading virtue, the runner-up that shades it, and an honest note on where each strength can tip into its shadow side. The full result is free before you are asked to share anything.

Soul Spectrum is an independent, fan-made project. The soul-color theme comes from UNDERTALE fandom, and Jaden’s original test inspired a wave of people comparing their colors — but the questions, scoring and interpretations on this site are our own, written for a slower and more honest read.

What makes this version different is what happens after the last question. Many tests lock the full picture behind a sign-up or a payment; here the complete spectrum, every interpretation and the downloadable card are free on the first visit. Sharing is a bonus, not a toll.

The 66 statements are split evenly: 33 are direct and 33 are reverse-scored, spread across seven original item groups. Determination, Kindness and Perseverance carry ten items each; Bravery, Justice, Patience and Integrity carry nine. Think of it less as a verdict and more as a mirror. The result is a starting point for a conversation with yourself — or with a friend who insists they are obviously a Justice. If a line in your result stings a little, that is usually the line worth sitting with.

READING THE NUMBERS

How to read your Soul Virtues Extractor result

Every virtue is scored from 0 to 100, and 50 is the neutral midpoint — the answer “neither agree nor disagree” carried through. A high score means your answers aligned with that virtue’s statements. A low score only means those statements did not sound like you; it never proves the quality is absent.

Some statements are scored in reverse, so agreeing with “I keep my goals vague” lowers a virtue instead of raising it. Agreeing with statements about choosing and recommitting raises Determination, while agreeing with statements about dropping routines lowers Perseverance. This keeps the spectrum honest for people who race through the test agreeing with everything.

Two labels matter more than any single number. When your top virtues finish within three points, they are shown as close leaders, because one different answer could reorder them. When all seven scores sit within ten points, the result is a balanced spectrum — no leading color, and that is a finding in itself.

Everything runs in your browser. Scores are calculated on your device, progress is saved locally so you can leave and finish later, and individual answers are never uploaded. The only thing a shared link contains is the seven final numbers.
