OUR IMPACT

"We are not aiming for simple
things. Our goal is that
students research and
develop with an engineering
approach."

Our mission is to integrate a student researched and
developed (SRAD) propulsion system into every stage of
our project, making it the first student-led space
mission.

What we do

Our main goal is to compete in the EuroC competition following the Space Mission Life Cycle workflow.

We are university students who design, build, and launch rockets from scratch, with our own hands. No shortcuts: just engineering passion and a shared obsession with reaching the sky.

Our departments

Aerostructures

Our main functions are:

• Designing and modelling components in CAD
• Assembling and setting up the launch pad
• Integrating and manufacturing rocket subsystems

Propulsion

Our main functions are:

• Designing and testing a hybrid rocket engine
• Validating the combustion chamber performance
• Testing and qualifying the propellant tank for hybrid engine operation

Mission analysis

Our main functions are:

• Developing a flight simulator for trajectory and performance prediction
• Performing post-test data analysis and interpretation
• Running CFD simulations to extract aerodynamic coefficients

Electronics

Our main functions are:

• Designing and building the rocket's full avionics system
• Developing the ground station to monitor and control the rocket remotely
• Building the hardware test infrastructure

Informatics

Our main functions are:

• Developing of control algorithms
• Designing software architectures for sensor data acquisition and processing
• Writing and maintaining software tools

Recovery

Our main functions are:

• Designing the parachute deployment subsystem
• Validating the system through drone-based testing
• Developing and testing the recovery cord system

Management

Our main functions are:

• Securing funding and partnerships to keep the project running
• Keeping the team organized and every member engaged
• Growing the project's visibility and outreach
