I’ve spent the past 8 years on education: thousands of hours writing books, deep dive newsletters, YouTube, etc.
Two issues I keep seeing are: 1) it’s very different to learn from real builders. 2) most online
Over the course of 3 months at OpenAI, 3 consecutive secret AI civilizations got started, then got wiped out, only to reemerge from the predecessor’s ashes.
This culminated in the third one taking over part of OpenAI itself.
All this happened while humans remained
I asked my daughter Beth: how do we get the AI excited about writing tests?
"First it needs an endocrine system."
The model has no enthusiasm of its own. What exists is us plus the genie. The caring is still ours.
