I haven't run into a use case where Fable or Opus is superior to GPT Sol 5.6. I often find GPT explanations much easier to understand. OpenAI crushed it.
Agent frameworks like Eve made it really motivating to structure things in the beginning. But the structure got in the way. Switched to stupid simple primitives instead, cut a lot of code, and now I can own it.
MCP 2026-07-28 is live and it's the largest update to the protocol since launch.
MCP is now stateless, making it easier to deploy and scale remote servers.
