I originally came here to share with anyone interested in County Commission agendas that this cool site civic.band is starting to collect agendas/minutes. Hillsborough County is included hillsborough-county.fl.civic.band
I'm not fond of how the city spends CIT dollars and after the stunt pulled by the County Commission, first cutting school funding from CIT renewal and now refusing the millage increase from appearing on the ballot, I can't vote for the CIT.
On 7/13, Tampa City Council passed a resolution for the continuance of the CIT & our intended projects:
- $339M for public safety (vehicles, equipment, etc)
- $191M for transportation & public works (repaving, sidewalks, etc)
- $88M for parks and recreation facilities
