#pypdf==4.0.0 was just released 🎉 We now support layout-mode text extraction ✍️ and you get a PDF preview when using pypdf within Jupyter notebooks 🤩 Kudos to the new contributor shartzog who implemented the layout-mode with his first contribution 🤯👏

Did you know that you can use the CLI program `pdfly` to split a PDF? superuser.com/a/1807735/64857 `pdfly cat in.pdf 2:4 -o out.pdf` is just the simplest of many ways to use it

fpdf2 is now part of the py-pdf organisation, just like pypdf github.com/py-pdf/fpdf2 🎉 We hope both projects benefit from this move on the long run by a better exchange+support of the projects. fpdf2 is awesome at PDF generation, pypdf excels at text extraction+manipulation

pypdf==3.14.0 was released 😎 Users can now use cryptography instead of Pycryptodome, the text extraction of math content (LaTeX) was improved. Finally, the AnnotationBuilder was deprecated in favor of Annotation classes
