Good to know

Questions before you begin.

Which watermark tasks are available?

The workspace includes focused tools for creating text, transparent logo, signature, and QR watermark assets; adding visible marks to supported photos or PDFs; making recipient, date, and tiled photo copies; inspecting supported metadata signals; and creating a fixed visual comparison set.

Do I need an account?

No. You can use the tools without signing in. An optional account gives you saved settings and plan management. Your files stay in your browser.

Does WatermarkPilot remove existing watermarks?

No. The public workspace is not designed to remove existing marks or bypass provenance signals.

Is the metadata inspector an authenticity check?

No. It reports only the specific signal categories covered by the supported scan. It does not prove authenticity, ownership, AI origin, or permission to edit.
