I lead engineering for the Generative Media team at Google Labs.

Before my current role I spent 3 years at Waymo, for which I founded the Seattle office, working on camera perception and HD maps. In a previous stint at Google I worked on Maps, Lens Blur, Cardboard Camera, Jump, and VR180, pushing the limits of Computer Vision and Computational Photography. Before Google I was a researcher at the Toshiba Research Europe Laboratory in Cambridge, UK.

My research interests are in 3d Computer Vision, Visual Perception, Computational Photography and Machine Learning. For some of my old research in 3d reconstruction, check our CVPR 2010 tutorial.
