about

I am currently a staff software engineer at Google AI Imaging and Video, working on research at the intersection of machine learning, computer graphics, and photography as a member of the Creative Camera team led by Yael Pritch. From 2023 to 2025 I was a senior software engineer in Google Research, working in a computational photography team led by David Salesin. From 2021 to 2023, I was a staff research scientist at Netflix in the Production Innovation group, working on applied research for new techniques for visual effects and virtual production. From 2019 to 2021 was a senior software engineer in both Google Research and in the AR/VR engineering team led by Sharam Izadi.

I completed my PhD in Computer Science in June 2019 as an Annenberg Graduate Fellow in the Viterbi School of Engineering of USC. I worked from 2015 to 2019 in the vision and graphics laboratory at the USC Institute for Creative Technologies as a graduate research assistant, supervised by Prof. Paul Debevec.

In 2015 Spring, I received my MS in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology supervised by Prof. Philippos Mordohai, with a focus on 3D computer vision. I returned to Stevens as an adjunct professor in 2021 to teach a web section of CS-537: Interactive Computer Graphics with WebGL, based on the course developed by Angel and Shreiner.

From 2011 to 2015, I was an applications technologist in imaging and augmented reality at L'Oreal USA Research & Innovation, working for L'Oreal's Global Digital Incubator, where I worked on Makeup Genius, among other projects.

I received my BS in Engineering in 2009 from the University of Pennsylvania.
