When I started my career transition into tech I felt very alone and at times overwhelmed. Since discovering the impact of communities I’ve really embraced Torc and its members. The multiple events a week provide a variety of learning opportunities that actually involve the community: thought provoking interviews, actionable LinkedIn and resume reviews, and the weekly wrap up - I’m always left feeling motivated. The greatest impact for me has been the discord community. The Torc discord is full of like-minded individuals offering advice, support, or just a listening ear. You have a chance to meet lovely folks on a similar journey who can easily become some of your dearest friends.
