  • Quest Non-Profit Grocery Markets is redefining what food access can look like. By bridging the gap between food banks and traditional grocery stores, Quest offers an experience rooted in dignity, accessibility and sustainability. With the majority of their food donated by local partners across British Columbia, their Metro Vancouver markets give community members the chance to shop with choice and pride. When Quest came to us, they were navigating two significant operational challenges: a manual client referral system (CRS) and a website that no longer reflected the strength of their work. Through deep exploration, careful analysis and close collaboration with their team, we redesigned their CRS dashboard and built a modern, responsive website that could grow with them. The result is a more streamlined operation and a stronger digital presence, freeing Quest to focus on what matters most: increased food security for everyone in their community. https://lnkd.in/guz7Yhwy #BCorp #TechnologyForGood #CollaborationOverCompetition #Drupal #WordPress #WebsiteDesign #WebsiteDevelopment

  • As B Corp Month wraps up, the momentum behind purpose-driven business continues to grow. Today, more than 10,000 companies worldwide have chosen to meet rigorous standards for social and environmental impact, and to be accountable for the way they operate. We’re inspired by how far this community has come and even more curious to see where it will be a year from now. #BCorpMonth

  • Now more than ever, the arts are vital for bringing communities together. For over 45 years, the Vancouver Recital Society (VRS) has showcased world-renowned performers and introduced us to emerging stars on our city's stage. The organization also collaborates closely with inner-city schools to provide music education to students. After years of supporting their website maintenance, we had the opportunity to partner with their team on a complete redesign. The new platform captures their vibrant spirit with a colourful, energetic look and feel that makes it simple for visitors to discover concerts, purchase tickets, and immerse themselves in the arts. Check out our case study to see how it all came together: https://lnkd.in/gq5fRVzw #TechnologyForGood #CollaborationOverCompetition #WordPress #WebsiteDesign #WebsiteDevelopment

  • Do you know there are 10,000 certified B Corps around the world? To put that into perspective that’s: More than the number of Tim Hortons locations in Canada. (But way less than the number of cups of coffee Canadians consume annually). Or, from a digital perspective, the equivalent of launching a new website every single day for 27.4 years. That’s thousands of organizations choosing purpose over profit, and putting people and the planet at the centre of how they do business. If you want to support companies that are committed to responsible business practices, check out this search directory to discover B Corps you can feel good about supporting: https://lnkd.in/g9A36qqt  #BCorpMonth

This March marks 3 years since we officially became B Corp Certified. And since then we’ve been flooded with emails, opportunities, and insights that have been far bigger than we ever expected. But you may be wondering… what is a B Corp Certification? Certified by B Lab, B Corp status verifies a company’s social, environmental, and governance impact against the B Lab Standards. It signals to interest holders that your business is committed to practices that benefit both people and the planet. For us, this certification has opened doors, strengthened accountability, and connected us to a community of purpose-driven organizations. If becoming a B Corp is something you’re interested in, or even just curious about, we’re sharing what we learned throughout the process, along with a few helpful resources, in our blog: https://lnkd.in/gncGGe4C A quick note: B Lab introduced updated standards in 2025, with a stronger focus on sustained impact. Our experience reflects the earlier framework, but the lessons and resources may still support organizations starting the process. #BCorpMonth

  • Since 2005, The Houssian Foundation has quietly supported a diverse range of advocacy organizations, hospitals, schools, institutions, and community projects. As a B Corp, we were especially excited to partner with them on their website redesign, which emphasizes their dedication to community, gender justice, and climate action. The new site puts grantees at the forefront, featuring a streamlined grant process aligned with their approach and dedicated sections for key grant calls, such as the Daylight Fund, which focuses on safety for women and non-binary people. Discover more about our collaboration with the Houssian Foundation and the impact of their work in our case study: https://lnkd.in/gukD6zRD #BCorp #TechnologyForGood #CollaborationOverCompetition #WordPress #WebsiteDesign #WebsiteDevelopment

  • It takes a lot for a company to make a positive impact on the world. Countless actions. Constant effort. Real changes. And rigorous measurement. We know, because we do these things every day. And while the work is complex, our commitment to continuous improvement is straightforward. One simple symbol says it all: the B. As a Certified B Corp™, we’re excited to join forces with the 10,000 companies around the world who are united by the B to share our story during #BCorpMonth.

Last night was the inaugural meetup of the Vancouver chapter Agentics Foundation last night. A big thank you to David Gratton, Bill McGraw and Rob Goehring for hosting, and to the sponsors — AInBC, Railtown AI Technologies and Theory+Practice & Rogayeh Tabrizi, PhD for hosting the space. It was a packed evening of demos and discussion. Rob Ranson Robert Ranson highlighted Claude Code Browser and the concept of skills-based development in agents. Martin Robson ✨ demo'd EmilyAI, a metacognitive platform he's been building. Mohammad Ashkani from the Trilemma Foundation talked about their upcoming hackathon program supporting emerging tech talent. And David Olson David Olsson closed things out with https://www.worksona.io/, his workflow orchestration tool. I came away thinking about how much potential agentic engineering holds for organizations that have traditionally been priced out of custom software development. When the barriers to building tools come down, more people get to participate in shaping technology that reflects their values and serves their communities.  Coming up there will be a series of 'Build Nights' starting in mid-February — a hands-on working session where folks can dig into projects together. The monthly meetup will continue as well, featuring demos from the community. If you're in Vancouver and curious about agentic space, worth checking out.

  • The Vancouver Art Gallery is both a cultural institution and a household name for people who grew up in this city. From school field trips to hanging out on the steps, many of us were introduced to the Gallery at a young age and have grown up alongside it. We were honoured and delighted to work with the Gallery on the recent update to their website, and with a team that is as vibrant and engaging as the art displayed in their halls.  Home to a collection of over 13,000 artworks, the Gallery offers a rich visual experience to its visitors and now has a website to match.
