About me

About me

Hey there and welcome to my blog! šŸ™‚

My name is Emily Reid, and I’m a proud Canadian born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I may not be thrilled about the fact that I recently turned 29 (how did that happen so fast?!), but I am pretty proud of where I come from—and yes, I do say ā€œehā€ more than I’d like to admit.

These days, I work as a flight attendant for Air Canada, mostly on long-haul routes between Canada and Europe. One of the best perks of my job is getting to see so many amazing places—and meet even more amazing people. I’m often flying between Toronto and London, which gives me just enough time to squeeze in a proper Tim Hortons stop before boarding again.

Travel has always been in my blood (I’m a Sagittarius, so that totally tracks). Whether I’m checking out street food in Lisbon or just enjoying some fresh Atlantic air back home in Nova Scotia, I’m happiest when I’m on the move.

I’m single at the moment—and no, I haven’t found my Prince Charming just yet. For now, I’m totally fine just enjoying the adventure and seeing where life takes me. Maybe one day I’ll meet someone who wants to explore the world with me, but until then, I’m doing just fine on my own (and with a little help from Netflix and takeout sushi).

The most important guy in my life right now? That would be my brother Jake. He’s a graphic designer working with a Canadian online casino review site called MapleJackpot.ca (don’t worry—he’s not too hooked on slots…or so he says šŸ˜„). We don’t get to hang out as much as we’d like thanks to our busy schedules, but whenever he visits me in Toronto, we spend hours catching up over coffee and laughing about the good old days.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing. Feel free to say hi or drop a comment—I’d love to connect!
