State Employees to Receive One-time $2,000 Supplemental Payment

Gov. Brian Kemp has signed the amended FY26 Appropriations Act, which includes a one-time salary supplement of $2,000 for full-time, eligible state employees.

Eligible employees are those with regular, benefits-eligible status working 30 or more standard hours as of July 1, 2025, who have maintained this status as of the supplement processing dates.

Title IX - Federal Law to Prohibit Discrimination

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal law that prohibits discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive federal funding. Title IX states that: “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.”

Inquiries about the application of Title IX and its implementing regulations may be referred to Georgia Tech’s Title IX Coordinator, to the Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education, or both.
