Have you ever noticed that

when we are in a good mood,

we feel superior to the anxious?

It's a favorable comparison

and we love feeling good

about ourselves.

Then when we are concerned

about something and upset,

others who seem happy and

smiling seem to us to be fools.

Funny how all encompassing

moods can be.

Instead of

following negative thoughts

down a rabbit hole, I look

to see any kernel of info

they are bringing.

Then I throw them out

the door like bums

being tossed from a bar.

where they Lead!

 It is only possible to

live happily ever after 

on a day-to-day basis.
