when i were a kid my chemical romance, fall out boy, panic at the disco, the used, etc, these bands were mostly listened to by fat girls that wrote bad fan fiction on their live journal

as for nu metal, this was considered cringe by "the cool kids" and proto hipsters who considered nu metal a down grade from nirvana and grunge it was mostly listened to by edgy teenage boys with spiky hair

the guys i knew listened to screamo and post hardcore and rap and smoked the weed and had lip rings and back then wore tight pants when that wasnt a popular thing to do

i think MCR and some nu metal bands are being looked back on fondly because the music isnt that bad and there is a severe lack of rock bands for the younger generations

Men are also more likely to start making art to compensate for (sexual) shortcomings. A problem that the vast majority of women don’t have when they’re young.
