Inspiration

Since there are many important global issues, it is simply important that the student should be aware of these issues what can they do to resolve them. And since not only students need to know about these issues, the website encourages them to share their knowledge with friends and family and the ones in need. The website can also be a source of information and contributions that have solved millions of peoples' problems. The goal is to help communities and regions as much as possible. The mission is to spread awareness among all of us.

What it does

Change Today is a website that encourages the audience to spread awareness today so the world can be in a better place tomorrow! The website also contains a call to action page which is the donation page. As donations help a lot to grow a community or region, there are 6 places to donate in Toronto, Canada.

The main purpose of the website is to educate the audiences about global issues, what causes them and what can individuals do to help reduce them.

How I built it

I built the website using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.

Challenges I ran into

One of the biggest challenges I faced was implementing bootstrap cards and the navigation bar. The second challenge was finding a reliable source for the donation page that would help others in need. The final challenge was to format the website in a proper way.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud that this website could help others and be a source of information. I am proud of being able to create a polishing website in a small amount of time. I am also proud of being able to create a website that solves real-world problems.

What I learned

I learned about bootstrap libraries and implementing them inside HTML.

What's next for Change Today

To help the spread of these global issues, a new webpage will be added to the website. The webpage will be about discussions about these issues so the audience can share their experience or their contributions to society and how can others do them as well. The webpage will also contain discussions to help others in need.

Another feature would be to embed a Twitter feed to the website so the audiences can share their knowledge, add comments, or other global issues that are important.

The final feature would enable the website to translate into information into different languages so it would help better understand these global issues.
