One of the problems with larger households is division of chores among housemates. They never get completed, even if there is a physical chore wheel present to ease the process. HouseMate solves this problem by distributing tasks/chores to each person daily and giving them a set time to complete the task, whereas failure to complete it will automatically pull money from a bank account into house or group pool. The group pool can be used for anything community related, such as house upgrades, while at the same time promoting an organized household with more responsibility.

Although this idea was conceived for a household, it could easily be expanded. The structure of a randomized task assignment system that distributes time limits and incentives can be scaled and applied to be used as a tool for freelancers/remote workers in the corporate world, as a student productivity system, or even as a more advanced distribution system for rent, labor, resources, etc.
