Inspiration
I always wanted to learn to build cool user interfaces with React Components. The Netflix UI seemed to be a great platform for me to learn and present my skills.
What it does
It is a complete clone of the Netflix web application.
How I built it
I used react with firebase to build the application. Used the TMDB API to fetch movie data for the application.
Challenges I ran into
Matching the CSS to the Netflix application was pretty difficult and required several testing and iterations.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
All the animation and CSS styling to build the UI. Building this cool looking app with React from scratch :)
What I learned
Learned how to build a great User Interface using React. Got familiar with TMDB api. Used the react-youtube library
