Perfect Pitch

As beginning Android programmers, we struggled to find an idea that was both within our means and practical enough for people to use. As intermediate musicians, we found the idea of integrating sound and music into an app intriguing. Keeping these two points in mind, we designed Perfect Pitch, an Android app that combines our interest in music with our passion and creativity in the field of app development. Perfect Pitch was inspired by musical ear training, a normally tedious and unfulfilling task that many students often disliked. We saw this as an opportunity to bring enjoyment and the spirit of competition to this once daunting task. Our app is mainly targeted towards those who wish to improve their auditory skills but without the tedium of normal musical training. We are especially proud of the level of engagement we can provide to people using our app, despite its minimalism and our own lack of experience in Android programming. We hope that its minimalist design appeals to you as much as it did to us!
