Inspiration

Our team was inspired by the popular game cookie clicker, which we were all guilty of playing in school. When the topic of the Hackathon was food, we knew we had to create a game similar to our favorite children's game.

What it does

Our program immerses the user into an idle clicker game using upgrades, power-ups, multipliers, and aesthetic appeal.

How we built it

Our team used a combination of HTML, CSS, and Javascript to code our function, using websites like Github and Visual Studio. We also used the help of Stack-Overflow and ChatGPT to aid us with the coding and images.

Challenges we ran into

A few challenges our team ran into was that it was difficult to design the navigation panel, it was hard to hold items in the shelves panel, and it was difficult to implement the multiplier.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our team is proud of many things, ranging from our unique UI design, to adding fun facts about ravioli, to even including a hidden easter egg at the last power-up.

What we learned

We learned that creating something like a "cookie clicker" game needs thorough planning, because while working, it's hard to decide the mechanics.

What's next for Ravioli Quest

There are many buttons that need to be implemented. We would also like to add new foods and recipes for the game.
